Hi, I'm Kara.
I'm a wife, high school English teacher, and writer from Kansas City. I spend most days hanging out with teenagers and teaching them how to write, but I also love to write my own pieces to encourage others.
My husband Josh and I were married in May of 2018. We are working on trading in our selfish mindsets and busy schedules for lives that surrender to Jesus and recognize the daily need for grace.
Follow along as I seek to trust in God, pursue His plan for my life, and love others. It is my goal that my writing inspires others to cling to Jesus. He is the ultimate example. He brings life and hope and meets us where we are, but He doesn't leave us there. He is the One who deserves all of the credit.
I'm continually growing in my faith. I'm a work in progress. I haven't "arrived." This is not a blog of perfection. It is where people can come from all backgrounds, interests, and experiences to pursue Jesus together.
I love that Jesus welcomed outcasts - broken people in need of a Savior. This should be a small corner of the Internet where broken people can encounter a perfect Lord.
